The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Stella Teitelbaum can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Fun in hall's with Stella

I first met Stella & Scotty in 1987 - 2013. I cherished the time I got to know them, & the wonerful stories from the past. After Scotty's passing. I tried to see her alittle more, She never failed to offer me a drink or cookie when in her hall working.I would tell her no thanks, she;d say your to skinny eat it. Just talking to Stella & laughing with her always made my day better. I Know she is happy now being with her Scotty.

Condolence: A part of me is lost forever. A blessing and a force of nature, I spent many evenings in her livingroom or at the dining room table having a cup of tea. A New Yorker and a Jersey girl laughing at everything. My Mamala I will miss you so much. I am blessed that you got to meet my husband and that you were able to listen in on our wedding day. I'm happy that you met my child. I will always love you ave forever miss you.

Condolence: My mother Stella, who turned 101 years old this past February 8th, passed away on the anniversary of my late father's birth. After suffering a stroke when she was 96, she spent the past 5 years (while living under my sister's loving care) trying to be strong despite adverserial conditions (just as she had lived her life). Filled with love and compassion and an unending thirst for knowledge, she inspired all who crossed her path and then some. A dedicated humanitarian, she gave love without reservation and provided guidance to all that would listen (and even to those that resisted). Married to my father for 64 years (until his death 12 years ago), she brought up two children in which she held as her greatest joy. My sister Iris, an ever loving caretaker, provided the loving care over much of her life but most specifically these last difficult 5 years that kept my mother not only alive but comfortable and with peace. In over the last century, my mother touched the hearts of so many and provided an honest and unconditional friendship with them. A life well spent, a peace well deserved, and with a love that will never diminish, my mother's life has meant a difference. She felt like a “millionaire”, not measured in monetary wealth but because of her appreciation of her life's blessings. She was generous in sharing her love and her blessings. May all those whose lives she touched remember her humanity, inner and outer beauty, kindness and guidance and may those memories surround my mother's peace in the heaven she created.

Condolence: Stella you were born before your time. You taught me so much about life and what I should expect. Thank you for my best friend Iris. We are still together and I am sure you and Scotty are dancing and singing in your dirndle ? skirt and Scotty on the Mandoline. And I will never forget Iris strapped to the chair playing her music. THANK YOU FOR MY IRIS. I WILL REMEMBER YOU ALWAYS. LOVE YOU
